Taste of RUI

A Fine Dining Experience

Every day is a special occasion in our restaurant-style dining rooms. Residents are greeted by our host and escorted to their table, adorned with crisp white linens. Maintaining a hallmark of modern-day fine dining, our executive chef prepares unique meals daily with high-quality foods, often locally sourced. Monthly lunch and dinner menus are distributed to all residents and posted online. Friends and family are always welcome to dine with residents.

Sunday Brunch

Every Sunday, our talented Taste of RUI team invites residents and their loved ones to indulge in Sunday a la carte brunch delicacies like a mimosa bar, buttered pancakes, and maple-glazed bacon to name a few of the delicious items offered at this special brunch.

Catering

Taste of RUI goes beyond the community dining room with our Taste of RUI catering options. From in-house catering for your private parties to bridge clubs or large corporate meetings and events, our team will put together a menu that is sure to impress your guests.

Chef of the
Year Award

Every December, each RUI community’s executive chef will be evaluated based on year-long performance in their community, and two will be chosen to compete in a “Chopped”-inspired, head-to-head competition. The purpose of this program is to recognize the executive chef who embodies the five Taste of RUI core values and vision of RUI. Our chefs will be participate in two challenges. First, they will compose a dish using only mystery box ingredients. Next, they will present a signature dish of their choosing. Check back later this year to see who will be named the “Taste of RUI Chef of the Year!”

Palate Discovery Workshop

An Inspiritas-exclusive event, the Palate Discovery Workshop gives residents the opportunity to take a tour of the senses in the culinary world. With chef-prepared tapas, residents are led through each detail of taste, texture, and sensory experience while being educated on the history, ingredients, and creation process of the dish.

Taste of RUI Demonstration

Taste of RUI, in partnership with RUI University, hosts a monthly live cooking demonstration featuring dishes from around the world. Each month, we spotlight a different country’s cuisine. Our chef prepares a signature dish live, while explaining its origin, ingredients, and preparation techniques. Attendees enjoy a taste test of each dish, offering a complete experience of the diverse flavors. For example, explore the intricate delicacies of Japan in April and savor the aromatic spices of India in November. This program offers RUI University students a culinary journey across the globe, and you’re invited to join them! Enroll in an RUI University class today to embark on this gastronomic adventure.
