Are you a Veteran? Or the surviving spouse of a veteran? If so, did you know the Veterans Administration (VA) offers a benefit that can help you pay for the cost of assisted living? This benefit is often informally referred to as “Aid and Attendance,” and while it has been around for quite some time, many veterans and their surviving spouses don’t know about it or how to qualify for it. During this session, Elder Law attorney Jeremy L. Pryor will come and discuss the potential uses of this benefit to pay for the cost of assisted living acre, in home care, and skilled nursing care. He’ll also discuss the VA’s new qualification requirements, which make it more important than ever to begin planning to qualify for the benefits now.
