  • Bay Lake Community (map)

From earliest times, humanity has shown a great affinity to the Sounds of this planet, we all share. The Rhythms and Melodies of the natural World, became fascinations to be explored, imitated and reproduced. In class we’ll trace the origins of a number of musical instruments, variety of different objects, actions and materials. Playing a bevy of instruments, including flute, banjo, recorder, mouth-bow, accordion, uke, harmonica, dulcimer and autoharp, we’ll use both songs as well as tunes, to take you on this journey of musical revelation. And, perhaps, you might just learn the difference between Music & Noise!
