Levels of Care

Aarondale focuses on independence and resident involvement. All residents, whether they need very little assistance or a special living environment due to memory impairment, are encouraged to take an active part in activities and their daily care. Residents at Aarondale receive the care they need and have the freedom to make daily choices.

A sense of freedom begins even before moving into Aarondale. There are no exorbitant entrance fees for joining our community. A very reasonable monthly rent includes all amenities and level(s) of care. Residents have a choice of studio, single or double suite apartments.

In assisted living, Aarondale offers two levels of care and three apartment choices: studio, single or a double suite. Aarondale also provides studio apartments in a secure area called The Laurels for individuals with Alzheimer's disease or other forms of dementia. The Laurels is dedicated to offering specialized care and activities that will best meet the needs of its residents.

Based on an assessment of your needs, we help you choose a level of care designed just for you. In each level, you can also choose from an extensive list of customized services and Premium Services:

Basic Assisted Living:
Includes all amenities AND a choice of one Basic Service.

Plus Assisted Living:
Includes all amenities, AND a choice of two Plus Services.

The Laurels at Aarondale:
Aarondale devotes an entire section of the building called "The Laurels" for seniors with impaired memory. Residents with memory impairments enjoy all the benefits of full assisted living, as well as additional staff supervision and safety precautions. Here, specially-designed safety devices ensure the well-being of our residents.

The Laurels has its own nurse station, activity room and common living area, and individual apartments within the area are modified for safety. Seniors who are no longer able to live by themselves will benefit from the extra supervision and the interaction with our caring staff. They assist in such tasks as bathing, dressing, taking medications and other daily needs. The staff also emphasize individualized social, recreational and educational programs designed for memory impaired individuals.

Includes all amenities, twice weekly housekeeping, flat linen service, and twice weekly personal laundry service, specialized activities designed for memory impaired adults, AND all Custom and Premium Services.
